Tools I Use To Build Guitars
I'm not a big fan of woodworking machines. That' s why I didn't need very much machines to build my guitars. The only moto tools I 'm using so far are a hand held router, a Dremel and a drill press. I personally like to use japanese hand saws.
Of course I have build some jigs...

To avoid having too much differt molds I've built this universal one. |

Arching templates for top and back. |
Tool for carving top and body (not selfmade). |
A knife for cutting the bindings, made from an old saw blade. |
I use this fixture to sharpen my chisels and planes. With the blade screwed on I just roll over sanding paper with grids 360, 600 and 1000. It works remarkably well. |
A more precise thickness gauge, build from scrap metal. The indicator is from the junk yard. |
Jig to saw the kerfed linnings by hand. |
The jig in action. |
A fixture to cut the sound hole. |
Sound hole cutter, view from the top. |
My primitive bending iron that is heated with a hot air fan. |
Fixture to route the binding ledges with a Dremel router. My first attempt with the official Dremel product for that purpose was frustrating. That's why I decided to build a better one. |

Device for measuring the thickness of top and back. Not very nice to look at, but it took me only an hour to make it and I was ready to continue carving the top.. |

Depth stop for drilling of top and back of the archtop guitar. |
